Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get feedback on my child’s progress?
You will receive feedback on your child’s progress either after each session or each month, whichever is preferred. You will also be able to access the sessions, and recordings at any time.
How are lessons delivered?
Lessons are delivered online using Teams. Each week, you will receive a Teams link which allows for interactive, engaging and effective sessions which may be recorded if desired.
Do you offer trial sessions?
We offer a free consultation, in which the tutor and parent/carer can discuss the needs of the student to ensure a well-tailored plan is created. The plan may change each week, focusing on what the students’ strengths and weaknesses are.
Are your tutors qualified teachers?
All GCSE tutors are qualified teachers holding a PGDE or PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status and subject specific degrees. Some of our Key Stage Three tutors may not be qualified teachers, but will be experienced tutors with appropriate degrees, training and DBS certificates.
What curriculum do you follow?
We follow the British National Curriculum, which is a globally recognized education system, primarily based on the National Curriculum for England (ENC), but with adaptations and resources tailored for international schools. It’s known for its breadth, flexibility, and rigorous assessments, particularly the International GCSE and International A Levels, which are highly valued by universities worldwide.
